Customer
Lifters who train on a weekly split, have about 90 seconds between sets, and want to stay in the workout instead of in an app.
Problem
Most gym apps keep the next set a few taps away, have no room for your own form reminders, and make a weekly split feel like admin. Lifts you only do once a week are the ones where form slips, and the app does nothing to help.
Outcome & measures
Open the app, tap the day the rotation suggests, tick each set as you finish it, watch your own form clip before a lift, and let the rest timer run without stopping your podcast.
"What do I do today?" answered in one tap
One tap to log a set, and the rest timer starts on its own
A short form clip for every exercise, playable mid-workout
Never lose a workout (off-machine backup every 3 hours)
What's next · Nov 2026
A rest bar that stays put while I scroll, then whatever the screen I use most between sets still gets wrong.
Why I built it
I train on a repeating split: chest and triceps, back and biceps, legs, plus small extras like a knee routine. What I wanted was simple: know what today is, log each set fast, rest the right amount, and see my numbers climb.
How it came together
I wrote down what mattered (a rest timer I can configure, my own rotation, progress per exercise, and my own form clips), then had agents plan and build it in two passes: a working v1 and a phone-first redesign. It went from idea to daily use in under two weeks.
What I learned
The best feature was the smallest one: a guided warm-up that moves itself forward only when I say “start”. Every other screen got simpler once I asked what I actually look at between sets.
