Tasks, habits and the day's plan in one app, built around how people actually run a day.
Customer
People juggling a job, a family and side projects who keep switching to-do apps, because none of them match how they actually run a day.
Problem
Tasks, habits and reminders live in separate apps, each with its own system. None of them think in life areas (health, money, career, relationships, upkeep), and planning the day takes longer than doing the first task. So the list grows, nothing feels finished, and the app gets abandoned.
Outcome & measures
One app with a single Inbox, goals grouped by life area, one committed task each for morning, afternoon and evening, habits with streaks, and short daily rituals for planning and shutdown.
- Plan the day in one short ritual, with one committed task per slot
- Capture anything into one Inbox from anywhere in the app
- Never lose data (off-machine backup every 3 hours)
What's next · Dec 2026
Finish the Knowledge backlog, so videos and articles I save move from saved to learned without leaving the app.
Why I built it
I kept switching to-do apps and kept bending my life to fit them. I wanted one place that matched my categories and my rhythm, and that I could change the same day I noticed something wrong.
How it came together
It started as a merge of two small apps, a task list and a habit tracker, then got rebuilt around goals and life areas. Since then it has grown one plan at a time: rituals, day slots, a calendar, a full redesign, and a learning backlog.
What I learned
Fewer choices beat more features. The biggest wins were limits: one task per slot, one Inbox, reminders that don’t pretend to be habits. Every time I removed a decision, I used the app more.
